Recover as much clarity, depth and presentation as the existing finish reasonably allowed.

ARRIVAL

Not every vehicle through the studio is a prestige or performance car. This Hyundai iLoad arrived before sale carrying heavily tired paintwork and years of accumulated wear.

HEAVILY TIRED PAINT

Heavily Tired Paint

The paintwork carried years of accumulated wear and the kind of tiredness that only sustained use produces.

This project proves an important point — the process is about the condition of the vehicle, not the badge on the bonnet. A tired work vehicle can require just as much correction judgement as an enthusiast car.

THE WORK

Correction & Revival

The exterior was thoroughly cleaned and decontaminated before a three-stage paint correction was carried out to recover clarity and depth from the black finish.

The wheels were removed for proper cleaning, and the paint was finished with a ceramic sealant — rather than a long-term ceramic coating — alongside engine bay presentation and exterior plastic treatment. The project concluded with a final inspection.

OUTCOME

The Result

Years of tired presentation were reduced through multi-stage correction, bringing clarity and depth back to the black finish before sale.
